BIG DAVE - 6AM-11AM - THE BIG SHOW

I started off as a small child...Hey I'm Big Dave, the morning guy on the Eagle. It's hard to believe I've been avoiding getting a real job for a quarter of a century now. Along the way I've toiled in such exotic places as Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Wyoming and now the beautiful Vail Valley in Colorado. Actually it appears I'm working my way back west (I started life in California.). If you get the chance check out the Big Show at 101.7, 97.5 and 95.3 from 6am to 11am weekdays. If you are in the Vail Valley have your people contact my people. We'll do lunch.

NATE THE ROCKER - 11AM - 3PM

Born and raised in Colorado, my life revolves around music.  Quite honestly, if it weren’t for music I’m not sure where I’d be.  Besides music, I like to sleep and drink… but those often involve some form of music as well.  Although my music tastes focus on blues as well as the heavier side of rock n’ roll, I’m not too picky about what I’m listening to, as long as it satisfies one main criterion: It’s gotta be good.  No crappy music for me, thank you.

I went to school in Grand Junction, and while there discovered that the college station KMSA played heavy metal on the weekends.  It was all downhill from there.  I discovered that I really liked being on-air and helping people discover new music.  After working my way up through management positions at the college station, graduating and completing my internship at the rock station there, it was time to get out of the desert.  Now here I am back in the mountains, working for KTUN - The Eagle.

THE FOX - 3PM - 7PM

So you wanna know a little about THe FOX eh? Well for starters your never gonna get to know THe FOX in a few words, paragraphs, dayz or even weeks.  So I’ll tell a tale of a girl who dreamed a world of music.  She never really knew that radio was her true calling, back in her days as a child in Michigan.  However, she knew she could kick ass in some realm of the radio waves. She/ I like to push people outside of their boarders that they don’t even know exist. I know I piss people off how I go about doing this, but when I do that, in the long run, I like to think that I made someone happy in a way, that they couldn’t comprehend.  In a way, I’m Confucius of music.  Let’s say, I open ears perhaps they knew they had or not, but just didn’t know existed, or how to remove the cobwebs from all that wax buildup. This is what I like to do with music.  I like to play music that some people are afraid to hear, but a lot of people WANT to hear.  And when they do listen, there amazed of what there insides truly crave! Kinda like The Jerk when Steve Martin “feels the music”. Yep that’s you…the white boy feeling a beat for the first time.  So sit back, enjoy, critique, call in and request what YOU wanna hear…… I’m here to listen…to you…. just as you are to KTUN.  Someone once told me, takin a quote from Willy Wonka, “We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams………”

THE JERSEY GIRL Weekends 7AM - 12PM

Born and bred off exit 120 in New Jersey -- so in answer to your question "what exit?" there you go -- I took my Jersey attitude and love for old-school MTV to broadcasting school in NYC and graduated from the now-bankrupt Center for the Media Arts.  Right out of high school and into broadcasting school, I had lots to learn so off I went to Boston for a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, with a specialization in Radio and Television, from Northeastern University. But most of my schooling came from outside the university, where I gained an education in music and management from work gigs at Axis nightclub (Lansdowne St.) and Mama Kin Music Hall -- Aerosmith's club, also located next to Fenway Park in Boston.

When I grew tired of Boston nightlife, I returned to NYC. After 14 years of city life -- half in Boston, half in Brooklyn -- I made my way across the country to the beautiful Vail Valley for a quieter life of snowboarding and the great outdoors. This is where I decided to actually use my degree and begin a broadcasting career; currently, I am the weekend morning DJ on KTUN the Eagle and co-host a Sunday night metal show on the non-profit station KLNX-LP.
